Making the Right Choice: Serving the Lord in Everyday Decisions
The small farmhouse has been going through a transition for some time, and now it's time to choose the color of the siding. The options feel endless, and making the right choice isn’t easy.
In the same way, Christians are constantly faced with countless choices. Of all the decisions we must make in life, the most important is this: to personally accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.
Even after that life-changing decision, we still face many daily choices—some big, some small. In Joshua 24:15, Joshua challenges the people of God with a powerful decision: who they will serve.
“But if serving the Lord seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your ancestors served beyond the Euphrates, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you are living. But as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord.”
— Joshua 24:15 (NIV)
Whether you're choosing paint colors or deciding how to live your life, let your choices reflect your commitment to Christ.
